    Travelers Beware

TRAVELERS BEWARE. SAFETY CONCERNS AND COMMUNICATION ARE NON-EXISTENT WITH THIS COMPANY. I have been to over 60 countries and Booking Tours is the absolutely worst company I have ever traveled with. We hired Booking Tours, because as two women traveling in the Middle East, we were concerned about safety. They took us off a bus from Petra to Wadi Rum and handed us off to two men with no identification in a minivan (that broke down) in the middle of the desert. Fortunately we made it to the campsite, but are confident most women would feel very uncomfortable in this situation. The following day, we were left at the camp with no information about when we would be picked up or who would pick us up other than “transfer”. You might be thinking, “why didn’t you ask”? Of course we did! However, they did not provide any contact information for the drivers and we were told that they don’t use What’s App and they don’t monitor chat boards outside regular business hours. Our hotel tried to call the generic number for us, no answer. When they finally responded on the chat board, all they said was “it is on your itinerary”. No, it was not or we wouldn’t be asking. We purchased a flight upgrade to replace a 10 hr drive. The flight upgrade did not, in fact, get us to our destination any earlier. In fact, we drove over 3 hours (when there was an actual airport at the border) and sat at the airport for 5 1/2 hours as we watched flight after flight depart for Cairo. The flight upgrade bought us the cheapest flight out that night that got us to the hotel AFTER when the 10 hour drive would have arrived. They gave us the incorrect flight info on the itinerary, and when we asked them about it, they said it was correct. It was not. When we inquired about how this was an upgrade they said they did not say we would get there any sooner with the flight, which is true. However, most people would assume a flight upgrade would also mean an earlier arrival. When we arrived at our hotel in Egypt at 1:30am, there were no towels and no toilet paper and no plugs that would work to charge our devices. In this case they did move us to a different hotel, but only because we walked out and refused to go back. However, their response was that the pictures of the hotel online showed outlets. Seriously? And these are just a few of the issues we had with them. Time after time, they refused to acknowledge any problems with any of their reservations, itinerary, or inability to contact anyone for help. If you choose to book with them, I hope everything goes exactly as planned for you. Should you have a question, be sure you ask during business hours. If you use What’s App, just know they do not. If you run into any problems at all, know they WILL NOT believe you or acknowledge fault or wrong doing for anything and WILL NOT work with you to resolve any issues. Before we wrote this review, we have been going back and forth with them for 5 weeks to give them the opportunity to make this right. Their response? They did nothing wrong. Their customer service is truly the worst I have ever experienced. Booking tours is not available to help you. Booking Tours does not care about your experience. Booking Tours does not believe you when you have a concern. Booking Tours does not care about your SAFETY. *I could not find that exact tour we did on the drop down menu, but included Israel, Jordan and Egypt, June 2023

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. 🌟 We genuinely appreciate hearing from our travelers as it helps us improve our services. We understand your concerns and want to address each of the points raised to ensure future travelers have a better experience. Safety and Communication: Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We understand that the handoff from the bus to a minivan in the desert without clear identification or communication was unsettling. We will ensure that all future transfers are handled with proper identification and clear instructions to our guests. Lack of Information at Campsite: It is unacceptable that you were left at the camp without proper communication regarding your pick-up. We are implementing stricter communication protocols to ensure our travelers are always well-informed about their schedules and pick-up arrangements. Flight Upgrade and Arrival Times: We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the flight upgrade. The purpose of the upgrade was to enhance your travel experience, not detract from it. We will clarify the details and benefits of such upgrades more effectively in the future to avoid any misunderstandings. Hotel Issues in Egypt: Arriving at a hotel without basic amenities like towels, toilet paper, and functional outlets is unacceptable. We are revisiting our partnerships with hotels to ensure they meet our standards of comfort and service. Customer Service and Accessibility: We regret that our customer service fell short of your expectations, especially during non-business hours. We are enhancing our customer service operations to provide more reliable support, including monitoring communication channels outside regular business hours. We understand your frustration and disappointment, and we are taking concrete steps to address these issues. Your feedback is crucial to our ongoing efforts to improve, and we are committed to ensuring that future travelers have a seamless and enjoyable experience. 🌍❤️ Thank you for choosing Booking-Tours. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. For any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Best regards, The Booking-Tours Team 🌟✈️

Great trip…but lots of time spent in bus. Guides were great and knowledgeable. Some hotels lacked 4 stars though. Took tour with AIT 4 years ago and some hotels have not been maintained, even had mold in one bathroom. Overall great trip.

Don't book Jordan to Egypt part of this tour.

The transition from Jordan to Egypt was awful. Don't book it! We checked out of the hotel in Jordan, hiked Petra all day, and then were taken to the Egyptian border and driven to Mt. Sinai. We were the only 2 people on the tour. We were expected to hike up Mt. Sinai in the dark to get there for the sunrise. The weather was freezing. We walked some and realized it was crazy so we refused to continue. We were left in the van with the driver and a security guard who did not speak English for 4 hours. There were no facilities of ANY kind anywhere around. The guide and his guide hiked up the mountain alone. They would not turn on the van to warm it up. We literally put on all our extra clothes from our luggage to stay worm. We complained until they called the guide to interpret. We told the guide to come back immediately. He said he would be back soon. He arrived 4 hours later!!!! It had SNOWED on them coming down the mountain and he was almost frozen. The tour service was just concerned that was our decision not to go up the mountain and instead of waiting around to do things in the area that we requested to go to our hotel in CAI, 3 hours away! No apologies. No, we were wrong to put you in this position. Just documenting it was our decision not to climb/walk up a mountain at night in the freezing weather without a flashlight. Viator needs to do a better job of ensuring transitions are better for the customers. I will be messaging Viator also.

Response from the operator: Dear Donna, We are sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience during the transition from Jordan to Egypt on the 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like to address your concerns. We understand that you were expected to hike up Mt. Sinai in the dark to get there for the sunrise, which was a challenging experience due to the freezing weather. We also apologize for the lack of facilities and language barriers with the security guard who accompanied you during the wait. We take all feedback seriously, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are sorry for the delay in the arrival of the guide, and the service you received was not up to our usual high standards. We will ensure to take the necessary steps to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. We hope you can accept our sincere apologies and consider using our services again. We strive to provide our customers with an excellent experience, and we would like to make it right. Please feel free to contact us if you require any further assistance or have any additional feedback. Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. Best regards, Customer Service Team

    Thanks for the positive emotions.

We had a 17-day tour of Israel, Jordan and Egypt. That's just great! We've had so much time to visit! Not even for a year, but for all five! Places are thought out magnificently, everything is very beautiful, the service keeps up. I really want to send my mom on this tour.

Response from the operator: Большое спасибо за ответ Мы рады слышать, что все было здорово Мы хотели бы помочь маме   Добраться до этой поездки также Спасибо большое

16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tel Aviv.

How much does 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $3478 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tel Aviv usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 408 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tel Aviv is not rushed.

Is 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Tel Aviv, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 408-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tel Aviv can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tel Aviv and add a light layer if any part of the 408-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 16-Night Israel Jordan and Egypt Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tel Aviv within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tel Aviv?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tel Aviv experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Pub Crawl Night Tour at Tel Aviv, Carmel Market Tasting Tour - LocaLocal, Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tel Aviv?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tel Aviv?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
