    A fun experience!

A very unique experience touring the Duluth harbor area in a helicopter. Check in process was great and the tour guide in the helicopter was informative about the area. Felt a little queezy after the 15 mile tour but that's just me. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new experience!

    I will start by saying...

I will start by saying these guys are a very friendly people. However our experience with how the operation was ran was unfortunately very disappointing. To start it off they gave us the wrong address having us drive an hour away. After making a comment about how we weren't thrilled about it they didn't make any effort to try and make things right. We were asked to leave a tip 3 different times then sent an email asking for a time as if the first 3 times wasn't enough. We asked the pilot to get a little crazy in the sky and have fun and he told Us for 40 dollars he will sell us the "adrenaline package" will unfortunately that was very misleading because we didn't do anything but go straight up and right back down.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear that you found our team friendly and we are sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. Regarding the location issue, it seems you found a glitch in our system.  Our automated email updating customers on our seasonal address appears to not send on same day bookings! Thank you so much for communicating this so we can modify our process on our end.   We also appreciate your additional insight and will work on our systems and with our team to improve the customer experience. If you would be willing to discuss your experience further, please contact us at 218-461-2857. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more and address your concerns directly.

    Xavier rocks as a pilot.

Outstanding flight with an outstanding pilot, Xavier. Very knowledgeable and looks like Tom Cruise. 😎 I highly recommend this pilot! Smooth flight. I'm definitely going to book a longer flight next time. With Xavier!

    Thrilling, not...

Thrilling, not frightening. The pilot and receptionist made it even more fun. Leaves most colorful the second week of October.

15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Duluth.

How much does 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior cost?

    +

Prices start at $161 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Duluth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior take?

    +

Plan for about 0.1 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Duluth is not rushed.

Is 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Duluth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Duluth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Duluth and add a light layer if any part of the 0.1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 15-Mile Aerial Helicopter Tour over Duluth and Superior start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Duluth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Duluth?

    +

On Outty we rank every Duluth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 30-Mile North Shore Helicopter Tour, Lake Superior North Shore Self-Guided Audio Driving Tour, Murder Mystery Detective Experience in Duluth MN. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Duluth?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Duluth?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
