Magical /spectacular—a truly transformative adventure filled with breathtaking wildlife encounters

Our safari with Ngoni Safaris was nothing short of spectacular—a truly transformative adventure filled with breathtaking wildlife encounters, impeccable daily service from Reagan our personal guide , driver , who’s role included seamless logistics that exceeded every expectation, making it the trip of a lifetime with memories we'll cherish forever. From trekking with gorillas , cheetahs and rhinos to intimate moments with lions, elephants, hippos and more, every game drive / boat safari was magical. Our guide Reagan was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and brought the wilderness alive with his knowledge and made us feel completely safe and immersed. We highly recommend Ngoni Safaris to anyone dreaming of an authentic, unforgettable African adventure.

Once in a lifetime experience

It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The diversity of this trip is incredible and hard to beat; we saw the Big 5 and much more. But meeting the gorillas was definitely the highlight for us. The trip was perfectly planned by Ngoni, and they took care of all our needs during the trip. We didn't have to worry about a thing. A big thank you also goes to our wonderful guide Hillary, who had extensive knowledge about his country, animals and culture. We had a lot of fun together and can only recommend him. This trip was a 10/10!

Trip of a lifetime

As the tour suggests- Ngonis delivered. We had an awesome experience with our tour guide Reagan who was exceptionally knowledgeable with his countries culture, the wildlife and really professional. He gave us the most memorable holiday- more than we ever expected. He listened to the things we were interested to explore in Uganda and was determined to help full-fill what he could. Nothing was too much trouble. We especially appreciated the pivot to our itinerary when we realised our last stop was so far from the airport. The tour was well paced and covered everything that made us feel like we’ve really experienced Uganda. Highly recommend Ngonis and Reagan!

Excellent Safari Journey in Uganda

Ngoni Safaris is a reliable company. They are ready and punctual. We loved our guide who was knowledgeable, made us feel safe and an excellent driver ( terrain can be challenging at times). Our tour had a balanced itinerary of safaris, primate trekking and cultural activities. We are at the airport leaving with mixed feelings: tired after such a journey and content to have lived such exciting and learning experiences every day for the past 14 days. We have a new respect and affection for Uganda and are committing to being good ambassadors of your country in Canada.

Trip of a lifetime!

Absolutely brilliant safari. Didn’t quite know what to expect in Uganda but the people and the country was spectacular. From seeing rhino’s with horns, trekking to see the chimps and gorillas, driving through stunning mountains and white water rafting down the Nile, it was a trip of a lifetime. All the accommodation was amazing. Our guide James was so knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Thank you James.

15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.

How much does 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari cost?

+

Prices start at $8000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari take?

+

Plan for about 360 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.

Is 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 360-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari?

+

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 360-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 15-Day Gorilla and chimps Trekking, Big 5 and Nature Sighting Safari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kampala?

+

On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kampala?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kampala?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
