    PLAY THIS GAME

Absolutely amazing experience. Our game master Abisaiwas awesome and on top of our game the whole time and was extremely helpful whenever we needed it. The scenic was awesome and the game play was phenomenal. As an enthusiast with over 350 games played I had soooooo much fun in their parody room the 13th basement. Had a chance to talk with the owners Christine and Jeremiah after our game and they were amazing too. You can tell they love what they do and they do it for the players and not just for themselves. I can’t wait for their next room to open. A++++++++++++

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to write a review here on Tripadvisor! We really appreciate it!

    Terrifyingly Hilarious

I’ve been behind on this review, but I think about this place often. We played their 13th Basement room last year and I still have to smile anytime the memory of being there pops into my head. Wildly creative- I’d call this the escape room enthusiast’s escape room. That’s not to say there’s no fun to be had by beginners or newbies to the escape room world, but there are so many tongue-in-cheek references to the industry as a whole. The puzzles are creative, fun, and unique. The game is great for groups as there are some solid communication and teamwork oriented puzzles. The only thing I would mention as a warning is that there is some gore and campy horror throughout the experience, but if that doesn’t bother you then this should be at the top of your list in the OC!

Response from the operator: You are so sweet! We appreciate you! Thanks so much!

Is 13th Basement Comedic Horror Escape Room in Anaheim worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Anaheim, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 13th Basement Comedic Horror Escape Room in Anaheim?

Is 13th Basement Comedic Horror Escape Room in Anaheim suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 13th Basement Comedic Horror Escape Room in Anaheim?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Anaheim can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Anaheim and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 13th Basement Comedic Horror Escape Room in Anaheim start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Anaheim within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Anaheim?

    +

Anaheim's activity market is built around Disneyland Resort and Knott's Berry Farm, then widens into Angels games, brewery crawls in the Packing District and easy runs to Laguna and Newport beaches. Skip-the-line timing and park-hopper detail matter more here than anywhere else in California, so we weight logistics heavily. On Outty we rank every Anaheim experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Iconic Sights of LA, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Beaches and More, 60 Minute Adventures at The Escape Game in Orange, Anaheim to LA: Hollywood, Beaches & Famous Film Sites tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Anaheim?

    +

March to May and September to November, when park crowds ease and days stay warm. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Anaheim?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
