Great safari holiday with Ngoni!
We had a great holiday in Uganda with Ngoni. The different nature reserves were beautiful, and with our experienced guide Steven we saw and learned a lot about the nature, the animals and the culture of Uganda. We could relax during the holiday, because Steven took care of the whole schedule and drove us everywhere in the 4x4 car. The lodges were very pretty and located on unique locations. We can look back on a beautiful holiday with the family.

The Perfect 18-Day Trip Across Africa
My wife and I recently completed an extraordinary 18-day trip across Africa, including two nights in Johannesburg, safaris in South Africa and Zambia, a day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana, and four nights in Cape Town. Organized by our local travel agent Nancy Malchi in Wellington, FL, via Tourism That Cares (toutismthatcares.com), every detail was handled flawlessly. Tourism That Cares were available 24/7 by phone or text throughout our journey. For anyone planning a world-class African adventure, I highly recommend following this itinerary and staying at these exceptional properties: 1. The Residence Hotel (Johannesburg, South Africa) Located in an upper-class Johannesburg suburb, this property is an elegant, large, converted home offering all the amenities of a major downtown hotel with the personal feel of a boutique stay. • Vibe & Service: The staff is wonderfully hospitable and efficient, creating an ambience that is both elegant and homey. • Dining: Excellent food with perfect portion sizes. • Tips: Easily accessible to central Johannesburg. Have TTC arrange a city tour of Johannesburg and Soweto, including Nelson Mandela’s former home. 2. Siviti Timbavati Plains (Thornybush Private Reserve, South Africa) If you are doing a safari in the bush, this is the place to be. It offers an unparalleled wildlife experience coupled with unexpected luxury. • The Safaris: We went on three-hour morning and afternoon drives, spotting giraffes, white rhinos, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and more. We even witnessed a mother lion and her cub take down a water buffalo! • Guides & Vehicles: The guide and tracker team were absolute experts. Vehicles are tiered and open, ensuring great views and safety. Photographers will appreciate how accommodating the guides are for getting the perfect shot. • Lodging & Amenities: The main lodge features open-air dining areas, lounges, a wading pool, and a circular outdoor campfire space. The guest suites are spacious, featuring super comfortable beds with mosquito netting, well-appointed bathrooms, and both indoor and outdoor showers. Walkways are paved, and staff escorts guests to rooms at night. • Dining: Delicious, plentiful native dishes and fresh meals. Highlights include snacks during game drives, sunset G&Ts in the bush, and top-tier South African wines at dinner. • Service: Truly above and beyond. When we accidentally left behind a watch and internet cords, the lodge notified us within hours and shipped them to our Cape Town hotel at their own expense! 3. Mukwa River Lodge (Livingstone, Zambia) Situated right on the banks of the Zambezi River with Zimbabwe directly across the shore, Mukwa feels like a high-end luxury retreat embedded in nature. • Excursions: From here, we took a guided walk with rhinos at Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, visited the stunning Victoria Falls (which more than rivals Niagara), crossed into Botswana for a full-day river and land safari at Chobe National Park, and explored the local marketplace in Livingstone. • Dining & Hospitality: The staff made us feel like old friends. As a special surprise, the manager arranged a private gourmet dinner for us on a riverboat cruising down the Zambezi. All meals were delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. 4. One & Only Cape Town (Cape Town, South Africa) We wrapped up our journey with four nights at this five-star harbor property. Located right on the bustling waterfront, it offers incredible views alongside easy access to local dining and shops. • Must-Do Tours: o Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden: The largest and most exquisite arboretum imaginable. o Table Mountain: Take the aerial cableway up for breathtaking views of the city and coastline. o Winelands: Take a day tour to historic Stellenbosch to sample local wines. o Cape Peninsula: Drive out to the Cape of Good Hope—a total highlight featuring wild ostriches, roadside baboons, and coastal penguins alongside magnificent ocean landscapes. Final Verdict: If you want to experience the very best of Africa’s wildlife, culture, and hospitality, stick to this itinerary. It truly is the trip of a lifetime!

Uganda always in my heart ♥️
This was one of those trips that stays with you long after you return to normal life. The safari was organized absolutely perfectly. Everything was smooth, comfortable, and incredibly well thought out — transfers were always on time, the itinerary was perfectly planned, the hotels were great, the food was delicious, and yet the whole experience still felt like a real adventure rather than a typical organized tour. A very special thank you to Cedric, Robert, and Steven — you guys are simply the best! ❤️ Always attentive, friendly, calm, and ready to help with anything. Thanks to you, the entire journey felt effortless and comfortable. And the trekking experiences were truly unforgettable. Seeing chimpanzees, gorillas, and the shoebill was a dream come true. The gorilla trekking was especially magical — an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Being just a few meters away from these incredible animals, surrounded by untouched nature, is something you simply cannot put into words. A huge thank you to the entire team for an incredible journey, for the attention to detail, the care, and for showing us Africa in such a wild, beautiful, and unforgettable way. I would absolutely recommend this company! If you want to experience Africa not just as a trip, but as a real adventure and a lifelong memory — this is the team to go with. ❤️

13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.
How much does 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa cost?
+
Prices start at $7,000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa take?
+
Plan for about 312 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.
Is 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 51 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 312-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 312-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kampala?
+
On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kampala?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kampala?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 13-Day Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa?
+
