Exploring the unimaginable!

I went on this trip because a friend had invited me and I thought it would be fun. I had no idea that it was about to turn into the most amazing trip of my life! Odyssey Morocco took care of absolutely everything. I was picked up at the airport and taken to a unique, beautiful hotel in the middle of the Medina. And it was like that for the rest of the trip. As we toured the country, we visited the perfect variety of places, giving us a great sample of all that Morocco has to offer. We stayed in every type of beautiful hotel you can imagine, tried a great variety of foods, and seemed to be in a different type of place every day, leaving me wanting to return. Mohammed, was the kindest most thoughtful guide, who took absolute care of us. If you are thinking about going to Morocco, I highly encourage you to consider Odyssey Morocco to guide you through this mystical and enchanting country! I’m already planning my return trip! Thank you, Odyssey, Morocco, and Mohammed for giving me the trip of a lifetime!

Beyond expectations!

The Odyssey Morocco 12 Day Tour was fabulous! We had the best local tour leader, Mohamed! He was knowledgeable, very kind, attentive to our questions and needs, energetic, and had a great sense of humor. Mohamed was also skilled at taking memorable photos. His deep love for his country and people shone through as he shared Morocco with us. Our driver was friendly, and extremely attentive and safe on the highways as well as in the narrowest of alleyways. And all of the tour guides from the various locations were experts in sharing the beauty and wonder of the sites. I liked the small tour size made up of solo family members and a friend of a family member. We all got along extremely well and shared a lot of laughter as well as meaningful and life-changing experiences. The 12-day tour length was perfect as it highlighted the must-see sites and places as well as smaller towns and villages. In the cities we walked the streets of the centuries old medinas and experienced the vibrancy of the souks. We visited authentic weekly markets where carts were pulled by donkeys, sheep and cows were bartered, blacksmiths hammered their metal wares, baskets of pungent spices and abundant fresh picked vegetables and fruits adorned the stalls along with a vast array of other goods. We saw the natural wonders of the Rif and Atlas Mountains, dramatic gorges and green fertile valleys, the sand-colored mud brick towns. We watched nomads tend to their flocks of sheep, weavers creating their masterpieces, leather workers in the tannery, and rode camels into the amazing Sahara Desert. After another fabulous tagine meal, dancing and drumming along with talented Berber musicians around the Sahara luxury tent accommodation's firepit we walked a short distance to the dunes and watched the crescent moon rise amidst shooting stars. Magical! We learned about Islam and Moroccan culture and experienced the melodious call to prayer as it marked the importance of their religion in their daily lives. We saw the amazing architecture and design elements, the work of great artisans and craftsmen; ate fresh, healthy, traditional, delicious dishes at every meal; and shopped for beautiful souvenirs. The tour's busier days were interspersed with relaxing days, and it was thoughtfully well-paced. I loved the November/December time. We had cool/cold temperatures and incredible blue skies every day except for one day of overcast and slight showers, which was also fun to experience. We were rarely amongst large crowds of tourists and easily moved about the various sites and places. It was fun and enjoyable to stay in various types of accommodations: smaller intimate and quaint riads, large expansive ornate riads, luxury riads and tents, a modern hotel, and a modern and chic riad. We were welcomed with mint tea and sweets and treated fabulously by the staff. The excellent breakfasts at every accommodation were a perfect way to start another fabulous day in Morocco. It was hard to say goodbye to our newly made friends at the end of our trip. We are so grateful for the experiences we shared and carry fond memories of Morocco and its beautiful culture and people. Thank you, Odyssey Morocco!

12 Day Morocco Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Casablanca.

How much does 12 Day Morocco Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Casablanca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 12 Day Morocco Tour take?

+

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Casablanca is not rushed.

Is 12 Day Morocco Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Casablanca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 12 Day Morocco Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 12 Day Morocco Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 12 Day Morocco Tour?

+

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Casablanca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Casablanca and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 12 Day Morocco Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Casablanca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Casablanca?

+

On Outty we rank every Casablanca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Casablanca Half-day Guided Tour with Hassan II mosque ticket, Private Guided Tour of Casablanca Including Mosque Entrance, Fez Guided Tour with lunch from Casablanca. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Casablanca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Casablanca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
