An Amazing African Adventure — Exceptional Experience and Value!
Our 11-day adventure with Antique Safari Adventures was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the excellent itinerary and great communication to the flexibility in handling last-minute changes, everything was incredibly well organized. Even better, the trip was very affordable compared with many other African safari options we researched, without sacrificing the quality of the experience. Our guide and driver, Geoffry, was wonderful. At 73, I was traveling with my 18-year-old granddaughter, and he made sure the trip worked beautifully for both of us. The accommodations were wonderful, the food was excellent, and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. As someone who wants to experience as many countries as possible in my lifetime, I loved that this 11-day itinerary took us to or through five African countries. The absolute highlights were trekking to see chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, and golden monkeys. Because I had some physical limitations, Geoffry helped arrange treks that were within my abilities while still giving me the full experience. Seeing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat was simply unforgettable. We saw everything I had hoped for—and more. Geoffry's knowledge, flexibility, local knowledge and attention to detail made an already extraordinary journey even better. For anyone wanting the most comprehensive African experience, I would suggest combining this wonderful primate and wildlife adventure with a dedicated Big Five safari. We flew from Bujumbura to Nairobi to finish our trip with a three-day safari in Kenya, including a hot-air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara during the Great Migration .. It was absolutely spectacular and the perfect grand finale to an unforgettable trip. As one who has experienced over 130 countries, this was one of my top trips ever. Do note, this is a somewhat “adventure” type experience. Accommodations were wonderful, but you will experience rough roads, somewhat chaotic (but manageable) border crossings and sometimes limited “facilities” enroute. Non-withstanding an A+. I highly recommend Antique Safari Adventures and Geoffry. They delivered an exceptional African experience, tremendous value, and memories my granddaughter and I will treasure forever.
Response from the operator: Hello Susan, thank you traveling with Antique safaris , your calmness and tolerance made our work easier especially during the border crossings

5 star operator and great people
Geofrey made our tour a unique experience that we'll never forget. The planning, customer care and above the execution were done very professionally. Everything went smoothly and Geofrey took care of us at every moment. We enjoyed him as our tour guide and also had many interesting conversations. We'll book again Antique if we plan to come to Central Africa. Thank you very much!

Life-Changing East Africa Pilgrimage
Geoffrey tailor made this special trip for us three ladies that began in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania & Burundi. This multi-country trip took us 12 days to complete, was carefully thought off with daily cultural activities, safaris & good lodging. We felt very protected during the cross country border crossings, amidst the red tape & crowds. We also visited an orphanage in Burundi. Highly recommend this adventure of a lifetime!
Response from the operator: Hello Esther, It was a pleasure hosting you in East Africa. Traveling with you from Kenya through Uganda and Rwanda, all the way to Burundi, was truly inspirational and a great learning experience. Your faith, commitment to God, and dedication to helping others were especially inspiring and enriching within the tourism journey.
