An Unforgettable Journey with Alive Africa Adventures – The Absolute Best Way to Experience Uganda!
Our trip to the "Pearl of Africa" was a masterpiece of nature, wildlife and human connection, and we truly could not have chosen a better agency than Alive Africa Adventures. From day one, their organization was flawless, but what transformed this safari into a trip of a lifetime was our extraordinary guide, Stanley. Stanley’s profound knowledge of wildlife and Ugandan culture is unmatched. More than a guide, his deep-rooted pride in promoting his beautiful country shone through every single day, making us feel incredibly connected to the land. Our custom itinerary covered the very best of Uganda. We started and ended in Entebbe, where we spotted the rare prehistoric Shoebill at the Mabamba Swamp. We then tracked rhinos on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before heading to Murchison Falls National Park, where we witnessed the raw power of the Nile on an unforgettable boat cruise. Primate trekking was deeply moving: from the fast-paced chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park to the awe-inspiring, emotional hour spent with mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Uganda’s sheer diversity kept surprising us, from the lions and elephants of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the wildlife-dense boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, to the tranquil, island-dotted waters of Lake Bunyonyi and the serene savannahs of Lake Mburo National Park. Beyond the breathtaking landscapes and animals, the true heartbeat of our trip was the Ugandan people. We were deeply touched by the overwhelming joy, warmth and availability of the locals. In particular, the children and women left a lasting impression on our hearts—their vibrant smiles, welcoming energy and immense inner strength are truly inspiring. Uganda is raw, authentic and utterly beautiful. If you are planning to visit, look no further than Stanley and the team at Alive Africa Adventures. They are professional, passionate, and the absolute best at what they do!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with this agency from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, communication was clear and fast, and the team was incredibly professional and friendly. They truly care about us and go the extra kilometers to make sure every detail is taken care of. The itinerary was well planned, stress-free and exceeded my expectations. Thanks to them, our trip was unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone looking for a smooth, enjoyable and memorable travel experience!!! Tnx Stanley, Robert& Inocent

A Magical Safari
I can say enough good things about my experience with Alive Africa Adventures. Stanley always responded promptly to my questions and I never had to repeat myself. He noted our needs and arranged a wonderful Safari, comprised of two nights in Lake Mburo Park and the nights in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Our driver, Muzafaru, was also our guide and he excelled in both capacities. He is an excellent driver and a very knowledgeable guide. I traveled with my 90-year-old sister who has hearing difficulties and some mobility challenges, and Muzafaru always spoke clearly for her and kindly gave her assistance as needed when walking. My sister especially loves giraffes, and Muzafaru arranged a ranger for us so my sister and I could walk among the giraffes at Lake Mburo. It was magical! I highly recommend Alive Africa and Stanley and Muzafaru to anyone planning a safari in Uganda or Rwanda and beyond.

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.
How much does 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas cost?
+
Prices start at $4,500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas take?
+
Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.
Is 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 240-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kampala?
+
On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kampala?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kampala?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

Not included: International flights (from/to home); Additional accommodation before and at end of the tour, if needed; Personal items (souvenirs, travel insurance, visa fees, etc.); and Government imposed increase of taxes and/or park fees. +

What languages is 10 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas offered in?
