Amazing Safari and Gorilla Trekking
We had a great experience with Bamboo Eco. From the start Edison helped us organizing the best itinerary according to our needs. We had a wonderful time, our driver Herbert was helpful and full of information. There was a small problem with the jeep but they sorted it out easily and we arrived safely to our destinations. We chose the middle range selection for the accomodation and all lodges were super lovely. We highly reccomend chose them for your trip to Uganda!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience and for the positive feedback. We are delighted that your Safari with Bamboo Ecotours met your expectations. It is great to hear that you had such a wonderful time exploring Uganda. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you again. ~ Edison & Team

Amazing 10 day gorilla and safari trip
We did a 10 day gorilla and safari tour in June with Bamboo Ecotours and had an absolutely incredible experience. It was easy to organise with Edison over email, and we were picked up from the airport and taken straight onto the adventure! The tour was amazing, the variety in the days and activities was wonderful, and everywhere we stayed was great with lovely accommodation and good food. Our guide Fred really made the trip too, sharing lots of interesting information with us on the way, finding us fantastic wildlife sightings and really helpful and accommodating. We really couldn’t have asked for any more from our trip and would 100% booking with Bamboo Ecotours.
Response from the operator: We are so pleased to hear your safari was such an incredible experience. It is wonderful that the variety of activities, accommodations, and wildlife encounters made the journey unforgettable. Thank you for recommending Bamboo Ecotours. We look forward to hosting you again. ~ Edison & Team

Awesome and affordable agency.
We spent 11 days in Uganda and Rwanda with Fred, our bamboo ecotour guide and the trip was absolutely incredible. Everything was organized perfectly and really, all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the experience. Fred was super friendly and helpful all along. Bamboo has a great approach to eco-traveling because they regard communities as a essential part of conservation, which I completely agree with. All of the experiences we had with them, both in wildlife watching and in community visits where memorable. I would go back to them without a doubt!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your five -star review. We are delighted that everything went smoothly and the safari experience was awesome. We hope to welcome you back for another adeventure. ~Edison & Team

An Unforgettable Trip to Uganda and Rwanda!
I highly recommend Bamboo Ecotours. I had dreamed of going to Uganda forever, and wanted it to be a truly special trip--Bamboo Ecotours made that happen. From my very first inquiry to my very last inquiry (and many in between) Edison was professional, organized, prompt, courteous, and informative. I was able to modify the standard trip and add on an extra Gorilla Trek in Rwanda with no issues. Thanks to our guide Herbert, this trip was everything I wanted it to be and more. Uganda and Rwanda are obviously amazing, but having a great guide like Herbert during the journey made it even better. Herbert is professional, attentive, knowledgeable--all the adjectives--but most of all, he is fun and a joy to spend 10 days driving around Uganda with. I have been on safari many times to other African countries, and I can honestly say that Herbert is one of the best guides out there. Thank you, Herbert, for making sure that our time in Uganda and Rwanda was unforgettable and absolutely perfect!
Response from the operator: We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your trip experience. We are glad you had such an unforgettable moment with Bamboo Ecotours. ~Edison and Team

An Unforgettable Journey Through Uganda – Thank You Herbert & Edison! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What an amazing adventure! We had the privilege of spending 10 days exploring the beauty of Uganda – and every single day was truly special. A huge thank you to Herbert, our driver and guide, who made this trip unforgettable. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, reliable, and full of knowledge about the wildlife, landscapes, and Ugandan culture. We always felt safe and well taken care of, and thanks to his sharp eyes and experience, we saw so much more than we ever expected. From rhinos and lions to chimpanzees and mountain gorillas – Herbert knew exactly where to be and when! We also want to sincerely thank Edison for the perfect organization of the entire trip. Every detail was spot on – the itinerary was well thought-out, the lodges were great, and everything ran smoothly from day one. It really allowed us to relax and fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The highlights are almost too many to count: rhino trekking at Ziwa, game drives in Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Parks, chimp trekking in Kibale, the breathtaking gorilla encounter in Bwindi, golden monkeys in Mgahinga, and the peaceful moments at Lake Bunyonyi. Even the long drives were scenic and full of interesting stops and conversations. Uganda is a truly magical place, and we feel incredibly lucky to have discovered it this way. Thank you again, Herbert and Edison – we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and well-organized safari experience in the Pearl of Africa!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the five-star review! We are thrilled to hear you had such an amazing adventure. We sincerely appreciate your support and recommendation of Bamboo Ecotours. ~Edison and Team

10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.
How much does 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $3390 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari take?
+
Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.
Is 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 240-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 10 Day Western Uganda Budget Wildlife Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kampala?
+
On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure, Half day Kampala City Motor Bike Tours, Full Day Whitewater Rafting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kampala?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kampala?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
