Authentic Desert Experience with Great Comfort
This 1-night camel trek in the Merzouga Desert is unforgettable. After reaching the camp riding a camel seeing the sunset, I got a private luxury tent, everything was clean and comfortable. The traditional Moroccan food was excellent. At night, it was time to play drums around the campfire and listen to music. Watching the sunrise in the morning and coming back again riding the camel - the whole experience is perfect. The guides were very helpful and there were no hidden charges. I found both the beauty of the desert and a comfortable place to stay. Perfect for those who want a real dessert experience for a day.

A Perfect Night in the Sahara
In a word, the perfect experience!! Going to the dunes on a camel, watching the sun set, then spending the night in a comfortable bed at the luxury camp - everything is great. The tent is clean, with private bathroom, the food is also delicious (especially tajine). The fun of returning after watching sunrise and sandboarding in the morning is different. AS THE "NO EXTRA" SAID, THERE WERE NO HIDDEN COSTS. All the staff are very professional and friendly. Do not miss this tour if you want to get the peace, adventure and comfort of the desert together. Highly recommended!

Peace of the Desert
This 1 night camel trek in the Merzouga Desert was truly amazing. Do not miss the experience of crossing the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi on the back of a camel at sunset. It was very comfortable to have a private tent and private bathroom in the luxury camp. The traditional Moroccan tajine and mint for dinner was very tasty. Watching the starry sky listening to the music next to the campfire - it was the most magical moment. There is no extra cost, everything is included. All the guides were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to those who want the beauty and comfort of the desert together.

Sunset Camel Ride & Unforgettable Desert Night
Camel Trek in the Merzouga Desert. I was very happy to have the opportunity to stay at the Luxury Camp among the famous dunes of Erg Chebi. The camel ride was great from the start. At sunset,, you can see the view from the top of the hill. The camel drivers were very friendly and handled everything safely… When we arrived at the camp, we saw a private luxury tent for everyone. Comfortable bed, nice light, and everything is clean. Dinner was served with traditional Moroccan dishes. Especially the chicken tacos and desserts were very tasty. After the meal, the moments of listening to music on the campfire with the musicians and talking under the stars were the most magical. I also took the opportunity to go sandboarding - the thrill of descending quickly over the sand cannot be expressed in words. Bed was comfortable and quiet at night. The entire tour was advertised as "NO EXTRA" and there were no hidden costs. Everything was included. I would highly recommend this experience to my family and friends. If you want the peace, beauty and adventure of the desert together, then do not miss this camel trek.

From College Memories to Desert Adventures
Came on this trek with four friends and it was like our college reunion. We all had a lot of fun while doing Camel Trek. We were teasing each other on the back of a camel and taking selfies. The dunes of Merzouga seemed like a playground to us. We tried to run down the sand, which was a lot of fun. Arriving at the camp, we sat in our tents and talked and hosted a bonfire for the night. Local guides mingled with us and they told us horror stories of the desert, which thrilled us. The food was plentiful and delicious. This trek strengthened our friendship even more.

1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Merzouga.
How much does 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Merzouga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Merzouga is not rushed.
Is 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Merzouga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Merzouga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Merzouga and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 1 night Camel trek in Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp NO EXTRA start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Merzouga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Merzouga?
+
On Outty we rank every Merzouga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Merzouga: 2-Nights In Luxury Camp with Camel Trek & Dinner., Camel Trekking & 1 Night in Merzouga Desert Camp, Merzouga Desert – Camel Ride & Overnight in the Camp. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Merzouga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Merzouga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
