Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides

What an amazing trip we had with Captain Dale! He grew up in Florida so he knew all of the best spots. We saw alligators and their babies and a great selection of birds. I highly recommend booking the personal trip-tour. It’s a smaller airboat which allows it to maneuver is just inches of water. It can get into places the lather ones can’t.

    Dale’s secret places

Captain Dale was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guy. He was personal and genuine. Ask for a private tour with him:)

    Fun and scenic ride

We had a wonderful ride with Captain Dale and saw a gator nesting area with mana and babies. It's amazing how the boat glides through all the grasses and greenery without hurting anything. He was a lot of fun to ride with and got us back right before a storm. We went right to the airport from there and it was a great way to end our trip. Highly recommend!!

    Majestical, amazing and enjoyable

This was something that my husband really wanted to experience and I’m so glad we went. We are very spontaneous and thankfully we were able to book a tour the day the weekend we visited Florida. We ended up taking a private tour which was totally worth it. It was a sufficient amount of time and very affordable. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and he knew exactly where all the special locations were. There truly wasn’t a dull moment. We saw quite a couple mamma alligators protecting their nests, one of which just recently had her babies! Such an amazing site! We also saw an eagles nest where two eagles were there and we were blessed to witness an eagle majestically fly away from their nest. The scenery is just beautiful. I’m not making this stuff up. It was such an amazing experience! I totally recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and experience this side of nature. I would advise to plan and check out the weather before booking. I am writing this review a little late but it was on my to do list and I made a promise to write a review. Our tour guide, Shane was excellent, a very humble and knowledgeable tour guide. My husband and I had a blast!

    Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable adventure with Captain Dale Thompson! Our private airboat ride with Spirit of the Swamp was a highlight of our trip! There were just four of us women, and Captain Dale Thompson made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing the beauty of the swamp. The smaller boat allowed him to take us into areas the bigger boats can’t reach, making the ride feel like our own personal adventure. We saw so many different birds and fascinating swamp wildlife—even a baby alligator! Captain Dale’s explanations brought everything around us to life. The boat itself was wonderfully comfortable. The ride was smooth, the cushioned seats were a huge plus, and we could hear Captain Dale clearly through the headphones. Being able to comfortably enjoy the scenery while learning about what we were seeing made such a difference. If you’re looking for a memorable way to experience Florida’s natural beauty, book with Spirit of the Swamp and ask for Captain Dale Thompson! We couldn’t have asked for a better captain or a better experience!

1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Orlando.

How much does 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee cost?

    +

Prices start at $54 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Orlando usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Orlando is not rushed.

Is 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Orlando, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Orlando can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Orlando and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Orlando within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Orlando?

    +

Orlando is a park town with a wetland wrapped around it. Multi-day theme park tickets and skip-ahead passes dominate, but the highest-satisfaction days are often the ones nobody plans: airboat runs on the St. Johns, manatee swims at Crystal River, and Kennedy Space Center on a launch day. We rank on wait-time value and how honestly an operator describes what is included. On Outty we rank every Orlando experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game Orlando: Epic 60-Minute Adventures on I-Drive, Kennedy Space Center with Transport from Orlando and Kissimmee, 2 HR Interactive Walking Ghost Tour in Downtown Orlando. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Orlando?

    +

January to April, before the humidity and the afternoon thunderstorms settle in. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Orlando?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee?

    +

Included: Playground; Restrooms; Ear Protection; Pavilions; and Parking fees. Not included: Sun Block. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Where is the meeting point for 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee?

    +

Once you arrive at the park, free parking is available at the playground parking lot. You will then meet our captain at the dock. Please arrive 15 minutes prior. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

What languages is 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to 1-Hour Private Airboat Tour in Kissimmee if the weather is bad?
