A very interesting day
This trip was an experience we'll never forget. Everything was extremely well organised and we were kept fully informed of what was happening at all times by our exceptional driver and guide Michael (otherwise known as 'Walker'). We did the salt mines first. There was a lot if walking involved, but at a good pace, with seating in some areas. Our tour guide for this was very knowledgeable and it was very interesting. Our tour of the Auschwitz and Berghau camps was as awful an experience as you'd expect. Our tour of these camps felt a little rushed due to time constraints. Our day was full on and my only criticism would be that as we had to fit a lot in, it did feel rushed at times. We had limited time for lunch due to traffic issues. Having said this, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Krakow Direct to anyone planning a trip of this kind. I want to mention our driver and guide Michael 'Walker' again because he really went above and beyond throughout the whole day.
