Poor communication, sloppy job
Poor communication, you have to figure it out what is going on, they just dump you on a big boat with confusion and not realizing they have given you a 1 way ticket when it suppose to be with return ticket. You get to your destination but no one there to find you. You have to find them, and they have to make a call confirming your name and which group you belong to, they pointed us to the place where all the swimming equipments are and send you off to another boat for the swimming spots. Too many passengers on the boat and when in the water to see the mantaray, everyone are kicking each other, fighting on who gets to swim closer with the mantaray. Very hard to get a chance. Same thing on the way home, because of poor communication we have to find out how to get to the boat back to bali, we have no return ticket, messaged the agency to fix the mess they made. The trip was disappointing. We did not enjoy, lots of waiting and trying to figure out yourself.
Response from the operator: Dear valued customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your snorkeling experience in Nusa Penida. We apologize for the delay in responding to your review, as we conducted a thorough investigation into the issues you encountered. After reviewing our booking system and passenger list, we were unable to find your name. We also contacted our snorkeling operator in Nusa Penida and couldn't find any record of your booking. It's possible that you booked your snorkeling trip through a different agent, which may have contributed to the lack of guidance on activities and boat schedules. If you had booked with us, you would have enjoyed a seamless experience with personal guides serving you from departure to return to Bali. Our partner snorkeling companies provide professional services with clear guidance, and all our snorkeling guides are certified and licensed. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. We'll use your feedback to improve our services and provide better experiences for our customers in the future. If you need any assistance, we're available 24/7, so please don't hesitate to contact us. Best regards, Putu Martika Seminyak Tour Driver Bali Team

Nusa Penida.. more the ‘real’ Bali .. for now
Booking was easy and Nyoman our driver picking us up was patient and understanding as our alarm didn’t go off! He arranged everything for us and we boarded the fast boat to Nusa Penida. First we went snorkelling and straight to Manta Bay and there was several mantas present! Big ones! Then to other spots including Crystal Bay where there fish and corals of colours you can’t describe! After that lunch and then onto Kellenking beach - which is stunning - but the disappointment was we couldn’t go there instead it was about the IG photo ops - the same was true of Angels billabong and broken beach. Nusa Penida feels more like what we expected of Bali, but the Instagram photo shoots will saturate this beautiful island with tourism as it has done to Bali island - which is a shame
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review. This is what we are expected from the tour and activity experience to improve our service, as we can see from accurate and valued our customer reviews. We hope this is not the last chance that we can meet you in Bali and we looking forwards to meet you again on your return trip to Bali and enjoy the best experience with us in Bali. Kind Regards Putu On Behalf Management of Seminyak Tour Driver Bali

Best experience in Nusa Penida
The drivers were so helpful for Ubud tours and knowledgeable about best photo spots to take pictures. Also, snorkeling was so fun! We could see two mantas, one turtle and thousands of beautiful fishes! 100% I would recommend!
Response from the operator: Warms greeting from us, thank you very much for used & trusted our service. We hope we can meet you again on the next tour in Bali. And much appreciated for the review and advice, it is our parameter to improve our service for a better in the industry. We really hope you have a great memorable time in Bali Kind Regards Putra Manik Angkeran

Perfect day
The tour operator is very easy to communicate with and our guide Artha was the best! Yes, the attractions in Nusa Penida are very crowded but you're in Bali right? Thank you guys for this nice day!
Response from the operator: Thank you for a great review sir and hopefuly we can meet again in the future in Nusa Penida My best regards Artha Nusa

V over crowded tourist spot
Our guide Artur was great but this is a very very ‘busy’ tourist route with cars nose to tail across the island taking tourists to specific ‘beauty spots’ that are rammed with other tourists doing exactly the same thing. The snorkelling at the end of the day was lovely but the morning of travelling was not a lot of fun
Response from the operator: Thank you for review sir, yes the island is always busy and every day there is so many passenger come and the same access same tour route destination it make look busy. But understand with this case, we always manage to find alternative road to avoid the traffic sir . And we hope, you have enjoy the best of Penida island sir. Kind Regards Putra

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nusa Dua.
How much does 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nusa Dua usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nusa Dua is not rushed.
Is 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nusa Dua, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nusa Dua can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nusa Dua and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 1 Day Penida Island And Uluwatu Temple Private Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nusa Dua within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nusa Dua?
+
On Outty we rank every Nusa Dua experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bali Blue Lagoon Snorkeling - Lunch and Transport All Inclusive, Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Tour - Bali Volcano Adventure, All inclusive Private 3 day tours package : Bali highlights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nusa Dua?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nusa Dua?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
