Second time there and still bloody brilliant

This was my second time renting from MotoGS Rental Croatia, and it was even better than the first. I came back this year with my girlfriend after renting here last year, which already says a lot. I originally planned to take the BMW R1300GS with DSA, because that is what I know from home in Australia. But once I got there near Split/Trogir and had a proper look at the bikes, I ended up having a really good chat about the options and changed over to the R1300GS with DSA and ASA instead. Best decision I could have made. I was doing a self-guided seven-day ride through Croatia and further into the Balkans towards Montenegro. I had the rough idea of where I wanted to go, but no real plan and definitely no proper route sorted out. As a great extra, I was given a GPS with a preloaded route, and that completely made the trip. No chance I would have found some of those roads and places on my own just by winging it. The route was absolutely unreal. Great riding roads, great scenery, and exactly the kind of experience you hope for when you rent a bike in this part of the world. It took all the stress out of figuring things out as I went and let me just enjoy the ride. The bike itself was spot on, the advice was honest and helpful, and the whole rental experience felt personal and flexible, not just like picking up a bike and being sent on your way. You can tell these guys know the region and know exactly what riders need for a proper self-guided motorcycle trip from Split, Trogir and along the Balkan routes. Massive thanks again for the recommendation, the bike upgrade and the route setup. I had an absolute blast and I will definitely be back. Next time I am planning to bring a few mates over for another ride. Cheers, Max

Response from the operator: Hi Max, thanks so much for your great review and for coming back to us again. That’s the best feedback we can get. It was a real pleasure having both of you here in Trogir near Split, and I’m really glad the BMW R1300GS with ASA and the preloaded self-guided route worked out so well for you. Thanks again for your trust, and we’d love to see you back in Croatia for another Balkan ride anytime. Cheers, Frank

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Trogir and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Trogir?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Trogir?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
