    1. Kuromon Market

Osaka is known as the "Kitchen of the nation" for a good reason. Going on a food binge in the city famous for the "eat until you drop" motto is a must. Osaka sure loves its "konamono" - and while the starchy and carby flour-based dishes are indeed a soul food, the local cuisine has a lot more to offer. Your guide will introduce you to the less-known yet all the more worthwhile dishes, all adjusted to your preferences. With a delicious snack in your hand, you will also have a chance to learn all the interesting trivia from your guide. At the end of this tour, you will be left with full of delicious food in your stomach.

    Market Food Tour

My daughter and I loved this tour! Our guide was so friendly and showed us an amazing time throughout the market. We tried so many delicious dishes and ate until we were “stuffed”! It was such fun to roam around to see the incredible items for sale. I would highly recommend this tour! It was one of my favourites!

    Great tour, really good...

Great tour, really good value for money. Was amazing to try so many local foods! Our guide even took the time to show us some neighbourhoods nearby once we got full from all the food.

    Maru was an excellent...

Maru was an excellent guide. He not only knew the best stalls to get the various local specialties from, but also taught us a bit of Japanese and provided recommendations for the rest of our stay. We had a great time and I highly recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words, you guide was happy to hear it ! We are looking forward to welcoming you to Japan again !

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Osaka and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Osaka?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Osaka?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
