A magical mystery tour in beautiful India

We had a wonderful trip in India. Gopal responded fast to questions and our driver Maan got us eveeywhere fast and safe. Whereever we wanted to go, he got us there. This is a very good tour, you truly see the beauty of the country like Taj Mahal, Jaipur and the beautiful wildlife. We were lucky enough to see 2 tigers in Ranthambore and a leopard in Jhalana during the safaris. We also saw the very rare black bear. Thank you again Gopal and Maan for a magical mystery tour in beautiful India!

The 8 Day Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore Tiger Safari and Jhalana Leopard Safari exceeded every expectation.

The 8 Day Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore Tiger Safari and Jhalana Leopard Safari exceeded every expectation. The licensed tour guides were fantastic, the private car made travel easy, and every stop—from Delhi’s monuments to Jaipur’s palaces—was perfectly planned. Delhi was the ideal starting point. Visiting Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, and the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk (the Spice Market) gave us a deep sense of the city’s history and energy. Each site was presented with context and care. The 4-hour drive to Agra was smooth, and seeing the Taj Mahal in person was breathtaking and was the highlight of the trip. We also saw the Taj Majal from the other side of the river which is Mehtab Bagh 'Moonlight Garden'. Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh offered both grandeur and quiet river views. The stop at Fatehpur Sikri and Harshat Mata Temple added even more depth to the journey. The two half-day tiger safaris in Ranthambore were exciting. We didn’t see a tiger but we heard one roar. We saw several types of deer and the safari team was very knowledgeable. From there, the trip flowed seamlessly into Jaipur. Galtaji Temple (the Monkey Temple) and the iconic Patrika Gate were both memorable stops. The leopard safari at Jhalana Safari Park was thrilling, and spotting a leopard in the wild was amazing. Jaipur’s classics — Amber Palace where you get to see tourists riding elephants up the steep ramp to the entrance, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, (an observatory featuring the world's largest stone sundial), Hawa Mahal, and Albert Hall Museum — were the perfect finale, each offering its own beauty and character. The Hathi Goan Elephant Village in Jaipur wasn’t on the official itinerary but our driver suggested it before we left Jaipur. This is something you should definitely ask them to add as you get to learn about the care of over 100 elephants. You can hug and take pictures with the elephants for a fee. If you want a tour that combines culture, wildlife, comfort, and adventure, this is the one. Absolutely unforgettable. Notes - 1. Most of the places accepted credit cards for admission however many didn’t so I suggest you research the admission prices for non-Indian citizens in advance and have enough rupees for admission. 2. You should also have enough rupees to tip each local guide per day and for the personal driver at the end of the trip. You will also need some rupees to pay tuk Galati (auto-rickshaw) drivers as they are needed to get to some locations. 3. Some places on the schedule may be skipped/replaced based on timing. The Taj Majal is closed on Friday’s so you should ensure your days to visit the Taj Majal don’t fall on a Friday. 4. You don’t have to stick to the exact tour schedule and you may be able to add or delete items. In Delhi, I recommend the Lodi Gardens, the Gandhi Museum and the National Zoo. The Zoo doesn’t have people to allow you to pay for admission and the process for non-Indian citizens is complicated especially since the only offer Indian methods of payment (no Apple Pay no PayPal, etc.), so I suggest you buy tickets from your hotel concierge before going to the Zoo. 5. The driver will take you to several businesses that are very informational but they are also tourist traps where they try to get you to purchase local textiles, art, jewelry, rugs, etc. so you should research prices before making a deal. You will also see similar items at other vendors but these similar items are not the same materials nor quality. One example would be marble boxes made from the same material as the Taj Majal and the knockoffs are actually plastic. If you are going to buy jewelry, you should buy it in Jaipur where the prices are cheaper. This is something that will happen no matter what tour company you select. 6. Take a small backpack or tote bag with a zipper to carry some easy access food such as bananas, granola bars, Clif bars, peanuts, etc. so you don’t have to worry about leaving sites to get food. Also pack a few rolls of camping toilet paper as some rest rooms only have bidets or lack toilet paper. Definitely take this tour and select the 4-star hotels and you will have the trip of a lifetime visiting incredible India.

    9 day tour with safaris

We had the same lovely driver, with comfortable vehicle, throughout our tour. In each city/ location we picked up a local guide - all were good. but especially recommended Sitesh in Jaipur. There was flexibility in our daily arrangements to divert from planned activities where we felt like it. We chose to upgrade to 5* hotels - all were good - especially Laxmi Vilas palace in Bharatpur. We also added an extra day in Jaipur. Managed to see tigers, leopards and to hug a friendly elephant! Amazing service from Gopal and his team!

08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $423 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 08 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Jhalana Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
