Great experience, well organized tour
Driver picked me up from the Giza hotel to Alexandria, there a local guide explained the sites. She was very pleasant and informative. I asked to take me to poet Kavafy's House and she was eager to help me. Finally the driver took me to Cairo Airport

Excellent Tour
We took the day tour to Alexandria from Cairo which was arranged by Emo Tours through Get Your Guide. Pickup from hotel was at 7 am, but due to heavy fog, roads were closed for 2 hours but our driver Mohammed Bakar judging the situation quickly got us into a gas station with a cafe where we could rest and use the washrooms. We reached Alexandria at 12 pm, 2 hours behind our schedule. We were greeted by our tour guide Naglaa Abass, she gave us very good information about Alexandria and showed us the Citadel of Qaitbay, Library, Roman theatre and catacombs. She also took us to very good restaurant for lunch which was included in the package and suggested we have the fish there and I must say her recommendation was awesome. We finally bid farewell to her and left Alexandria at 4.30 pm for a 3 hour drive back to Cairo. Thank you Mohammed & Naglaa for the awesome time we had at Alexandria. Highly recommend Mohammed Bakar for all your tours in Cairo.

emo tours 10/10
I just had a few amazing tours with them, I did the quad bike, which for one hour we were riding not too far away from the pyramids. I also had a quick visit to alexandria with the driver Sayd, very polite and flexible with time, always trying to get as much done as possible. I have to thank to Hamada, for being kind and helpful. He also recommended the “sound and light show” right in front of the sphinx at night time!

Avoid Emo Tours Egypt – Dishonest and Unprofessional
I traveled to Egypt from August 4th to August 8th, 2025, and booked with Emo Tours Egypt. Everything was fine during the first few days, but the last day was an absolute disaster and left me extremely frustrated and disgusted. The night before my final day, I specifically told the tour guide to drop me off at Tahrir Plaza Hotel, and I asked what time I should be picked up the next morning. The guide told me 7:00 AM. I woke up early, got ready, and was downstairs at 7:00 sharp—only to find no guide and no car. They first claimed they had arrived, then said they were “a few minutes away,” but nothing happened. Finally, at 9:30 AM, they sent me a photo, and I realized the guide had gone to a completely wrong hotel—a hotel I had never stayed at during my entire trip in Egypt. They went to pick up other guests instead, never actually coming to get me. Then they told me they couldn’t come anymore because the other guests had already left for the day. They promised me a same-day refund. That never happened. The next day I returned to the U.S. and followed up for 2–3 days via WhatsApp. Suddenly, they changed their story, saying they could not refund me and even claimed it was my fault—despite clear WhatsApp screenshots proving: They wasted my entire last day in Egypt. I was left stuck in the hotel doing nothing all day. They had promised me a refund but delayed and then refused once I was back in the U.S. This was the worst experience of my trip. Emo Tours Egypt’s unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and lack of accountability ruined my last day in Egypt. I will never recommend them to anyone, and I hope others will think twice before booking with them.

01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.
How much does 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.
Is 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 01 way Transfer from hotel in Cairo to Alexandria start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cairo?
+
On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
